The proposed FR5 inspection nest contacts several surfaces on my steel sensor brackets, but the bench samples do not settle alike. A stronger clamp has been suggested. What should I ask the tooling review to establish about locating before approving that purchase?

Keep the rejected contact arrangement with the revision history. It explains why a replacement pad must not simply restore the old dimensions.
