Give the retained covers and marked regions to whoever owns cosmetic acceptance, then record the holder, actual seating, lighting and camera conditions with the comparison. Include acceptable finish variation and confirmed defects. The person changing the holder later needs to reproduce those conditions, not just find the folder.
