Fairino FR10: Visible cylinder, contact marks, no agreed inspection method

We're picking a gripper for Fairino FR10 to handle a coated round housing during moving cosmetic components between nests in a precision finishing workshop. Our bench samples have marks on the visible cylindrical surface. The supplier says softer pads; we haven't even agreed how to judge the marks. I need holding and release covered too.

@CalebAdams0145 Can you get the customer's appearance criteria and mark the cosmetic areas on the drawing? Those would give your pad comparison a useful starting point.

The exterior cylinder is labelled visible on the drawing. We've only got phone photos in workshop lighting, with no link to the customer's viewing procedure.

@CalebAdams0145 Request that procedure and compare handled samples with untouched references under it. A softer pad is worth including as a candidate to reduce marking.

I've settled how to compare the contacts: use the customer's appearance method and assess handling alongside it. That's enough to move the selection review forward, with the final gripper choice still conditional on the results.

That gives the selection review a clear basis while leaving the actual contact choice dependent on the comparison.
