ur5e installed adapter present, promised spare kit still elsewhere

Our UR5e hardware matches the order, but the additional gripper adapter in the promised spare kit did not arrive. Six days of next shipment replies, no parcel reference. I want the spare issue settled without our housing-transfer installation conversation quietly closing it.

Keep the accepted kit contents beside the receiving shortfall. Ask the parts contact for actual availability and a separate dispatch proposal. The installation discussion need not own that chase.

Purchasing owns it now. Seller acknowledged the omitted kit against the accepted contents list, but says it will go with our next order; we have no next order planned.

Say that explicitly. Can they supply the owed kit separately, on stated terms, rather than turn an existing shortage into a reason to buy again?

Ask what is actually preventing dispatch: unavailable contents, packing, or their freight arrangement. You cannot compare an alternative sensibly while next order is doing the work of three missing answers.

Has the seller confirmed the additional adapter's exact reference, not only acknowledged a spare kit by name?

Aisha, the adapter reference matches our accepted list. Nathan, all kit contents are available, according to the parts contact; their original proposal was to consolidate freight. Purchasing has asked for the full standalone terms, with no future order attached.

That's a supply option at last. Check the complete terms before agreeing; available on a shelf still doesn't put a parcel in your workshop.

And keep stores showing the kit as missing until its actual receipt. Purchasing can record an agreed shipment without making maintenance believe the adapter is already in the cupboard.

We've agreed separate shipment at the seller's stated cost to them. They sent a parcel reference and a packing list matching the kit, but there is no carrier collection event yet; stores still shows the shortage.

Good. Is their quoted dispatch date a collection commitment or only the day they produce the label? I would rather clarify that once than spend another week asking why the same number hasn't moved.

Collection date, now met according to the carrier record. The parcel is in transit. Thank you, Nathan; purchasing's update now names the event instead of saying shipment arranged, which used to mean almost anything.

Who will check the delivered contents and adapter identity against that list when it arrives?

Aisha's receiving check should also stay separate from whether the adapter is eventually fitted. An identified spare can be received into stock without claiming it has passed a new installation.

Did the parcel make it, Callum? Interested whether the actual contents match the packing list this time.

And do you have an agreed owner for the receiving check Aisha asked about? A delivery scan alone won't tell the next shift which contents were counted.

Stores received and checked the complete kit against the accepted list, including the correct additional adapter, and put the receipt reference on the shortage record. The missing-kit issue is closed. The spare remains unfitted, with its identity recorded for maintenance.
