Our FR10 block transfer saves the source pocket before placement, so after an interruption I can have the right pocket number and still no idea whether the block is in the tool or fixture; why does the recovery screen insist on offering resume instead of admitting it does not know?
Because it sounds like the screen trusts a number more than the physical state. I'd ask the programmer to walk through an interruption after pickup and another after placement, including lost confirmations. I don't know your recovery method, but an uncertain block location can't sensibly become a confident resume prompt.
