Our collar samples have broad dull patches and one narrow line after bench handling. The supplier recommends softer pads, but quality has not classified either feature. Which comparison should come before the pad choice?
Have quality judge identified samples using the intended finish requirement, including incoming examples. We found residue and an actual finish change hiding under one marks label. Then tooling can compare a defined pad proposal for holding, transfer and release as well as appearance. Softer isn't a diagnosis.
Quality accepts the broad patches after its agreed check but rejects the narrow line. We have retained both examples and asked tooling to locate when the line first appears during handling. No pad selected.
