Get the supplied adapter drawing and have the tool person compare the shoulder and seating, because equivalent needs to cover the actual installed combination, not only whether the bolt holes happen to line up.
I'd also ask why that version was supplied, Hazel; a compatibility comparison won't tell you whether the ordered version can actually be obtained if you prefer it.
And include updated tooling information in whatever they propose, so the next person doesn't inherit the old drawing alongside a different adapter and have this argument again.
