Training laptop times out on the documented FR10 identity read. Second laptop has worked. What separates endpoint, route and service when the working notes are incomplete?

I'd get whoever maintains the training network into the comparison, because the next instructor needs a supported way to repeat it, not a lucky laptop nobody can explain

Network lead can help. Do we need both laptops present, or just the working one's settings?

Both normal launches if you can. Written settings won't show which adapter and destination were actually selected when each test ran.

Mina, exactly, and include the account the instructor normally uses; an administrator's successful demonstration can leave the lesson just as broken for everybody else

Elliot, did the successful laptop complete this identity read, or was its success only ping? Your opening sounds like the read, but worth pinning down.

Identity read returned on that laptop. No saved route details from the successful session though.

Then use that as evidence it worked once, and let the paired check establish the conditions; don't turn an undocumented success into a controller-settings change
