The old laptop runs our read-only response inspection script. The rebuilt one rejects an argument before contacting the controller. Several SDK folders exist and nobody recorded which copy was imported. I need a reproducible setup the next support person can recover without trying folders at random.

Print the running interpreter, imported module path and callable signature on both laptops. Compare those first. Copying another SDK folder over the rebuilt machine could just give you one more candidate to guess from.
