@FelixBarnes0545 Got measured outlines for the opening and gripper? An offline layout might catch what the reach circle misses.
11 pointsAfter comparing the outlines, I found that the proposed approach overlaps the door handle even though the workpiece itself clears. That explains the misleadingly comfortable result in my initial sketch.
