The delivered FR10 adapter puts its connection beside the receiving pocket, unlike the assembly in our shell trial. Seller calls it equivalent. Installer has paused the tooling review before fitting it.
What comparison have they offered with your actual shell and receiving pocket? I'd want both complete assemblies identified, including the connected line, rather than another clip of the original tool doing the easy version.
Only the original clip so far. I have requested drawings of both assemblies and a comparison of the changed connection through pickup, transfer and release with our samples.
Did the installer get those drawings, Caleb? Also ask whether the original adapter remains available. Comparing the substitute is useful, but it needn't erase the option of supplying what the trial used.
Both drawings received. Installer flagged possible release clearance on the substitute; supplier is reviewing it. Original adapter availability is unanswered, and no installation or substitute acceptance has been agreed.
