our FR5 sketch stops at the chuck

I asked for the complete tool on our cylindrical-aluminium-blank layout and got a circle around the grip point, which does not show whether the body clears the open machine door. Has anyone found a simple way to make this omission obvious at a design meeting?

Put the proposed gripper outline over it, at the same scale. A circle hides too much.

The supplier has two gripper options but only one tool outline, and it is not labelled, so I can't do an honest overlay until they identify which one it represents.

Use the meeting to settle that. Otherwise everyone will approve their favourite imaginary gripper.

I've made that the first question and asked for the open-door outline on the same drawing; I'll report back if either option survives the comparison.
