Our workshop laptop times out on the documented read-only FR10 status test. Ping sometimes answers. Another laptop worked, but nobody recorded its network setup. I need to establish the intended endpoint and route before the team starts changing code or settings.

Can your network owner compare the intended controller identity, destination address, selected adapter and route on both laptops during the same documented test? Keep service availability as a separate check; a ping reply does not establish that the diagnostic service is reachable or even identify the device you intended.
