Our UR5e bag transfer needs me to arrange every new kit

The transfer works once I prepare the bags. Different hardware kits keep changing the bag shape, and each one gets another guide. I enjoy solving it, but the shared packing bench is starting to look like storage for my solutions. Need to judge the whole job now.

Time an actual order from the incoming bags to the packed output, including setup and interventions. Then decide whether there is a stable kit worth keeping automated. Your collection of guides doesn't need a production role just because it exists.

We have one regular kit. Others are short and change often. I've asked the operator to compare that regular kit with the manual method, counting preparation and the space it occupies.

Have someone else set it up too. You may have learned little adjustments that the guide sheets do not mention. Those become support calls when you are away.

Tried the setup walkthrough with another operator. They needed me to choose the correct guide and settle two bag positions. Thanks, Naomi. That belongs in the trial work, not under operator error.

Did the written setup name those choices? I mean the actual guide identity and bag position, not just use the appropriate setup.

Fix that omission, but put a limit on the next comparison. Otherwise each useful discovery becomes permission to build another guide and the whole-order question never gets answered.
