Establish when the tilt begins, then compare the actual jaw seating, contacts and tray references with their intended condition. Preserve the current assembly and edit history; otherwise restoring one thing can leave you running compensations for a fault that is no longer there.
Tilt begins during closure. Technician found one contact pad loose. Its fixing and the surrounding mounting condition are being inspected, not simply tightened and declared finished.
Good, because why it loosened matters to the repair. Keep the toolmaker involved if the fixing or pad arrangement differs from the specified assembly, and have controls review the accumulated point edits with the restored condition.
The pad had the wrong-length replacement fastener and was not clamped as intended. Toolmaker specified the correct assembly; maintenance has restored it and recorded the finding. Controls review remains open.

Keep that boundary in the handover. A correctly fastened pad is a completed maintenance finding, but it does not establish the checked handling performance or release the latest saved program for use.
