I added a locator to our FR10 puck tray and the first supervised comparison looked better. After changing trays, one pickup missed. The replacement tray can be latched while sitting on the locator edge, which I had not noticed from above. I want to report the improvement without hiding that failure.
The successful runs used the first tray seated against the locator. The latch looks closed in both positions on the replacement. I have added both views to the update and asked the designer to review that false seat. Or rather, the latch alone is not a useful seating check.
