Have the tutor explain what they can establish at that empty pocket, including what the job expected there and which physical outcome remains uncertain, before you write more instructions.
our fr5 spacer instructions end where the tutor starts guessing

They can identify the pocket and see it is empty. They cannot tell whether a spacer was never supplied, is still held, or was placed before the last saved update. The current display encourages them to guess from the number.
12 pointsHave controls and the tutor review that display against the retained job state. Planned pocket, confirmed transfer and unresolved outcome need clear meanings. The handover also needs a named person who can reconcile uncertainty, with cover when that person is absent.
23 pointsDo not give the operator a continue button whose meaning depends on which explanation they guessed. The uncertain cases need an explicit hold and decision process.
9 pointsThe current automatic continuation is disabled for unresolved transfers. Shift lead and relief lead will handle reconciliation with maintenance. Controls is revising the display and checking how the hold survives closing the application.
17 pointsOur relief person read an unfamiliar page better than everyone who wrote it. Try yours with somebody who missed the design meeting.
14 pointsInclude reopening while the outcome is still unresolved in that walkthrough, because closing a window can look like ending the problem even when the job must remain held.
15 pointsAlso review the state after reconciliation has been recorded. The next startup must preserve the reviewed decision without silently treating it as a new transfer request.
8 pointsOffline examples now preserve both the unresolved hold and a recorded reconciliation across reopening. The relief tutor tried the draft and asked who to call if the lead could not establish where the spacer went. That escalation was missing.
16 pointsThat is a real gap. Naming the lead does not guarantee the evidence will be sufficient for them either.
12 pointsWas the tutor able to find that contact unaided once it was added?
23 pointsYes, Hana. The revised draft has the maintenance escalation and continuing hold together. The tutor found both without my prompt. Thanks Nora for the closing-window case; that was the first thing they assumed ended the hold.
18 pointsWhat remains before you issue the handover?
1 pointsThe installer-led station exercises and review of the physical recovery checks. The draft has passed the desk walkthrough, but I have not released it as the operating handover.
7 pointsKeep those remaining checks assigned to named people, so passing the walkthrough does not leave the practical exercise waiting for whoever remembers it.
0 pointsInstaller and maintenance lead have the work booked with the covering tutor. The old sheet stays withdrawn from use for interrupted runs; they are still referred to the designated lead.
