We once had both sides clearing the same job bit. Excellent cooperation, useless interface. Give each signal one writer and agree what event makes that writer change it.
8 pointsI would not choose the clearing event by its name alone. Does acknowledgement mean received, accepted, or finished in your application? These are different moments.
6 pointsNina, exactly. My ownership point doesn't make an acknowledgement a completion. Alex needs those meanings agreed before either side adds a longer pulse and calls it done.
