I am preparing an FR10 palletising review for our training workshop. One student noticed that the rotated cartons have their reinforced base edges above gaps, although the completed stack looks orderly. What should we add to the drawing so packaging and tooling can review that observation together?
I'd show the layer underneath with the upper carton supports marked over it, because the pretty overhead view is doing an excellent job of concealing the part your student noticed
Bring an actual filled carton to the review. Let the student point out the support edges on that too. It is a good question, not an inconvenient interruption.
They will present the finding. We are using the current packaging sample, with its insert visible in a separate opened case. No revised arrangement selected yet.
Nice, and I'd include a side view of the opening fingers rather than just their closed outline; otherwise the next discovery belongs to whichever student asks how the tool escapes
Include the pallet and any proposed layer sheets in the same review. The required support may depend on the complete packing arrangement, so approval of two carton layers alone could leave an important assumption unstated.
