Our FR5 sketch reaches the fixture for 128 planned steel blanks, but neither the gripper body nor the open door exists in it; what fuller access evidence should I get before choosing the arm for this compact workshop?
Can the integrator start from the installed machine opening and a complete tool candidate, including the held blank? I would ask for the unloading sequence rather than one pose at the fixture.
Ask the setter which way the fixture actually comes out for changeover too. It would be frustrating to approve a robot route and discover the stand blocks their ordinary job.
And be clear what this comparison establishes: geometry and access questions. It doesn't replace the full application risk assessment or verify machine access conditions merely because the door is drawn open.
The survey now includes handle projection and trolley route; the candidate tool still needs its rear fitting added before the integrator compares withdrawal.
Has the tool supplier defined hose routing assumptions for that fitting? A nominal body outline with an unspecified connection behind it still leaves an occupied region uncertain.
Use a clearly identified provisional envelope if the exact fitting choice is pending, but have the supplier bound it; don't invent a clearance allowance yourself.
