Our brass-sleeve loading study records exposed length and calls every difference inconsistent seating. It has no overall sleeve lengths, named measuring face or repeated readings for the same sleeve. I want a usable comparison before this becomes a robot-loading conclusion. Which measurements should the setter and inspection agree first?
Agree one measuring reference on the identified chuck arrangement, and record each sleeve's identity, overall length and end condition alongside its exposed length. Have the setter repeat the agreed manual loading comparison with the same sleeves. That separates differences between sleeves from variation when one sleeve is reloaded, without assuming either is already the cause.
