bracket fixture proposal built around the corrected sample

I found the sample behind our UR5e bracket-fixture proposal. It passed inspection, but its traveller includes a correction step after welding. We have been using it to describe what comes straight out of the jig. What should I ask fabrication to recover before we approve the new fixture concept?

Ask whether any identified measurements exist before that correction, with the drawing revision and restraint condition. The accepted sample alone will not tell fabrication how much correction the old route needed.

The traveller identifies this bracket, but there are no pre-correction dimensions. Final inspection used drawing E. The old jig sheet says aligned under clamp, without a measurement method. I have asked the setter about that check

Can the setter identify which feature was corrected? That may help the team plan a current comparison, even if the old amount cannot be recovered.

Keep the incoming components in the review too. We once blamed a jig for struggling with a changed gusset. Actually, the jig still needed work, but starting with the assembled bracket hid why the fit-up had changed.

Aaron, setter remembers correcting the free flange angle, not the amount. Daniel, the gusset revision changed between the old sample and our proposed assembly. Fabrication is comparing the component drawings before specifying a current trial

Thanks for checking the gusset. Make sure that drawing comparison reaches the fixture designer, not just the estimate. A clamp added for the old component could be solving yesterday's problem very thoroughly.

Please return with the trial scope when agreed. I would like to know how they plan to measure the untouched released bracket, alongside the fit-up check.
