I can't accept this bracket handover without the loose-part check

Our FR10 fixture proposal copies an old adjustment, but the records only explain alignment while clamped; how can I prepare an operator handover when the failed loose-part height check has no recorded method?

Get quality to define the finished-part check and ask whoever used the old fixture what they actually did after release. You'll need that space and responsibility in the handover too, especially if the old process included another operation nobody has put in the new layout.

Quality is documenting the current drawing check, and the old operator remembers a separate correction bench; its purpose and time are still missing from the proposal.

Then leave room for that question in the layout review. I'd be wary of promising a smaller footprint just because an unexplained bench has vanished from the new drawing.

Our bracket folder had fit-up ticks mixed with loose-part measurements; check what that correction bench was meant to change before assuming it served the failed height check.
