Our FR5 layer turns the dispatch cartons so the labels face out, but it also puts their bearing edges above finger channels; I'd like packaging and tooling to solve the actual support together before anybody celebrates the tidy labels
Is that particular label face required outside, or could the marking arrangement change? I'd ask dispatch before preserving a turn that packaging cannot support.
Dispatch says a second label is acceptable if packaging approves its position. We now have a straight-layer candidate using that option, with the same packed carton construction.
Packing applies it at the existing labelling stage, with the extra handling timed in the comparison; packaging accepts the straight candidate's support, but tooling still owes the withdrawal check beside a returned partial build
Did that returned-build check finish? I would keep the second-label option available without calling the entire straight pattern accepted before the tool can leave it.
