The FR5 access quotation includes a route but no agreed gripper

I asked for loaded removal, empty return and setter access in the FR5 study, and those are now listed, but the supplier has left the gripper as 'customer to confirm'. We have two proposed assemblies. I do not know what route they can meaningfully price until we choose one.

Can they price an initial comparison of both complete assemblies, with a decision before detailed layout?

They can, as a separate concept stage. Both candidates now include the adapter and fittings in the scope, with the measured door opening supplied by our machine team.

What do you receive if neither assembly gives a workable route?

Their revised offer includes the clash locations and assumptions for both, plus a review with our toolmaker before any further design is commissioned; purchasing has not accepted it yet.
