Our trim plate gets a new scratch when the support moves

Moved the trim plate support slightly and our labelled scratch slid across the image. Physical plate hasn't changed. I'm holding the FR10 threshold work until we know what those training labels describe.

Have quality inspect identified plates by the agreed physical method, then pair those findings with the full images. Include accepted bright finishes and real rejected scratches. A stripe changing position is a reason to question the label, not enough to label every stripe harmless.

Quality confirmed that plate is acceptable. A second retained plate has an actual groove. Same presentation comparison shows the bright band moving on both. Old stripe label withdrawn.

Now compare candidate lighting and support arrangements with both plates, including repeated loading. Pick conditions that preserve the real groove and control the misleading band before tuning. Save the full views so the next person knows how each plate sat.

Can the loader reproduce the chosen support position yet?
