Yes, as an early access comparison, with the unfinished dimensions visible; it should guide the design without becoming permission to build the stand.

The setter has already ruled out the sketch's position because it occupies the fixture trolley space, so the integrator is comparing a side position and a position farther from the opening.

Keep the tool and machine survey tied to both alternatives. I've had proposals which were called a position comparison even though one quietly acquired longer fingers and a new price along the way. Those changes may be sensible, but they belong in the comparison.

Jasper, did the longer fingers solve the access problem in that proposal? Interested whether the extra tool length helped entry but caused trouble leaving.

The supplier had only checked the pickup pose when we asked. We had to request the full route before comparing it. I can't offer it as an example of longer fingers succeeding, only of an incomplete quotation.

And the empty return belongs in the route review. I keep seeing drawings stop once the part has reached its destination, as if the next cycle gets a new arm.
