I called my UR5e sleeve-transfer visit easy setup. Reading it back, the demonstrator had already fitted the tool and prepared the job. I enjoyed using it, but that isn't what I wrote.

Which parts did you actually do yourself? That would help somebody like me picture the visit. I mean what you handled on the screen or station, not whether you were physically standing there during setup.

Selected the prepared job, loaded the sleeves as shown and followed the supervised run. He dealt with an empty pocket when I loaded the wrong row.

The empty pocket is worth mentioning. That is exactly the sort of thing I'd want help with on a first visit, and it tells me more than saying setup was easy.

Yes, I was making the visit sound smoother by editing out the bit where I got confused. Not my finest editing decision.

You can still say the explanation helped. Did you understand what he changed or did he mostly take over?

Keep the enthusiasm. Just stop borrowing his preparation hours.

Sam, he explained the empty-pocket handling, but I didn't repeat it myself. Jane, fair point. The visit felt easy because somebody had done the difficult preparation.

Call it a first supervised use, then. Leave setup effort and independent recovery out of your verdict unless you actually tried them.

I wouldn't leave the recovery experience out altogether, Emma. Knowing he explained it is useful; just say Callum hasn't shown he can do it alone.

I read Emma as saying no verdict on independent recovery, not no story about it. The helped part can be useful, especially for another beginner.

Yes, Omar, that's what I meant. The assisted example belongs in the account; it isn't evidence of independent use.

Changed the headline to first supervised use and added who prepared the tool and job. Empty-pocket episode is back in, including that he handled it while explaining.

Also kept the bit about liking the screen prompts. That was genuinely my experience, even if my original title tried to promote me to integrator.

Thanks for keeping that detail. A useful prompt and helpful demonstrator would matter to me too; I just wouldn't use the visit to estimate our own setup time.
