Have maintenance compare the block's actual contact with both fingers during the isolated tooling inspection, including what supports it before it leaves the fixture; a square starting picture may depend on support the grip does not provide.

The reference wasn't dishonest. It had simply stopped representing what arrived at the bench. A quick comparison of the faces the fingers actually touch can save a much larger argument about the robot.
