Our UR5e arrived, but the contact pads differ from the setup demonstrated with our assembly shells. The unnamed Chinese seller calls them equivalent and hasn't shown the replacement handling our samples. Twenty-seven days waiting; tool still uninstalled. What comparison should I ask for before our reviewer makes a decision?
Ask them to identify both pad arrangements and explain the changed contacts against the original trial conditions, including the receiving fixture and the sample surface requirement. A repeat pickup alone may not answer what the change does to release or shell condition; keep supply of the agreed pads as a separate option too.
I've sent the original trial record with marked photos of the delivered pads, asking for that contact and handling comparison. Also asked whether the agreed pads can be supplied. No technical answer yet, so neither option is approved for installation.
