Our bracket notes name the measured feature and drawing revision, but the released failure and later pass use different checking supports; can I ask quality to reconcile those methods before the fixture quote inherits a correction allowance from their difference?

Yes, and ask what was actually changed on that bracket between the two checks; even after quality explains the supports, you still need to know whether the later pass followed a real correction or just a different way of holding it for measurement.
