I can't hand over recovery as another call to me

I have been improving our software examples after an earlier reconnect mistake, but I have another hole in the practical UR5e sleeve-loading handover. Everyone can run the saved job. An empty pocket or interrupted placement still brings the class back to me. My sheet explains which button starts the job and says almost nothing about how to decide what happened when it stops. I want the operators and controls lead involved in filling that gap. What would you make visible when the saved pocket number and actual part location may disagree?

Show what is confirmed, what is only commanded, and what is unknown. Then define who can reconcile the part and job state. A pocket number by itself cannot answer all three.

The present screen only shows the saved pocket. We have feedback elsewhere, but the operator must know where to find it and what it means. That is one of the things I had been explaining verbally.

Put it in front of them. Use the words on the actual screen in the draft instructions.

We have a draft state display now, with uncertain placement explicitly shown. Controls is reviewing the recovery choices. I have stopped trying to squeeze every interruption into resume or restart.

Let somebody who didn't write it walk through the sheet. Preferably while you resist explaining the missing bits for them.

That is harder than it sounds.

I saw a walkthrough pass because the instructor supplied the answer at each pause. Try noting the pause and letting the operator describe what is unclear before discussing the fix. Then practise the approved recovery under supervision

Who covers the escalation if you are not there?

The shift lead, with controls backup. Two operators reviewed the sheet without my commentary and found a missing empty-pocket case. We have added it; practical validation is still pending, so I am not calling the handover complete.

Include those contacts in the training check too. People need to know how to get help, not just that help theoretically exists.
