Have quality identify the affected sleeves and agree the appearance method first, with incoming condition recorded; compare any proposed pad assembly through holding and release, not only by how soft its loose sample feels.
Cannot choose softer UR5e pads while we disagree about the sleeve marks

Our anodised sleeves leave the bench trial with visible bands where the proposed UR5e fingers contact them. One person calls them rejectable marks, another says they wipe away. Supplier offers softer pads. I want an agreed appearance check and a proper holding-and-release comparison before buying a material that merely looks kinder.
