Then ask them to confirm that list first, with stock status and the proposed supply date. A parcel reference would be useful only once there is an actual parcel to identify.
That is a firmer record, not a delivery commitment. Whoever plans maintenance cover should have the same outstanding status; I would not translate 'next shipment' into an expected arrival in the internal schedule.
