Ask what equipment and documentation are included, and what refurbishment work was done. An inspected arm without the expected controller, cables or usable records is a different purchase from a complete assessed package.

Do they offer an independent inspection before collection? I would want any demonstration conditions and limitations stated too, so a brief unloaded movement is not sold to you as proof it suits the spacer job.

Keep condition assessment separate from suitability for your complete application.

And identify support availability for the supplied configuration. A low collection price may still leave you without somebody able to assess a fault or provide the applicable documentation later.

A blank checklist is a description of possible work, not evidence that work was done. Have they offered to produce the unit-specific findings, or are they asking you to decide from the checklist?

Do not let the package inventory answer close the condition-report question.

They want a collection commitment before discussing inspection access. I have declined to proceed on that basis. Attractive price still, but the condition evidence I asked for is missing and no payment made.

Keep the enquiry record with that decision. It states why this offer was not acceptable to you without turning missing evidence into a claim that the machine is defective.
