Component-case support and UR5e release need one review

I'm reviewing our proposed UR5e pallet layers. Some rotated component cases bridge gaps despite their support direction. What should the shared packaging and tool-access drawing establish before I accept it?

Show each case over the layer beneath, with packaging's required bearing regions and the full tool opening and exit. Include the filling order.

Packaging hasn't supplied bearing regions yet, only the direction requirement. I've requested those alongside the tool sequence, with the gaps identified as questions.

Does the support direction come from the internal packing, and can the supplied samples show that construction?

Ask for representative filled cases with the documentation, Harish. A diagram of the outside cannot tell the reviewers where the load reaches the base, or whether the sample matches the actual packed goods.

And let tooling offer alternatives if its opening consumes the required support space. Changing carton count needn't be the first answer.

Maya, would a changed opening affect access beside cartons already placed? That belongs in the sequence too.

Yes. An alternative tool still needs the complete sequence checked, not just a nicer release picture.

The filled cases are available for packaging review. Tooling has asked whether orientation can change; I haven't agreed that while the carton support assessment is outstanding.

You can request it as an option without accepting it. Keep the same packed-case requirements and full stack in its scope, so the alternative doesn't answer an easier question.

Requested as an option, thanks. The original pattern and alternative both remain unapproved; the shared review now has actual packed samples rather than only their dimensions.
