On the bench I can put the same support bracket into our proposed FR5 nest and get two positions that both look settled from above. The designer has suggested more clamping. What observation would help explain this before we pay for finished tooling?
Identify what touches in each position before clamping. Same bracket, same nest, both observations retained. Ask the designer to explain intended locating contacts and clearances against the bracket drawing.
Can you see that corner from the loader's side? I ask because 'looks settled' can mean nobody has a view of the bit that isn't. That needs an answer even if the designer sorts the unwanted contact.
I'd send both photos in one labelled view. Separate attachments have a habit of becoming a best-case picture in the proposal and an unexplained complaint somewhere else. Make the two possible positions hard to accidentally separate.

Check more than the one bracket against the drawing. A useful counterexample, but the tooling decision needs to account for the permitted part variation too.
On one of our nests a single lovely sample sat perfectly and everyone blamed the next delivery. Turned out the lovely sample was the unusual one. Not saying your parts are wrong, Abigail. I'd want the designer looking at an identified spread, rather than whichever piece makes either argument easiest.
Quality has identified samples across the observed variation. The same unwanted side contact appears on more than one conforming bracket. Designer has those pieces now; the proposed relief still needs assessment.
Omar's question belongs in the review of the changed nest, Abigail. A drawing that removes one interference may still leave the person loading it guessing. Let them try the proposed recognition method before calling the instruction obvious.
