UR5e refurbishment report with the repair page missing

I'm considering a refurbished UR5e for polymer-puck unloading. Seller sent a condition report with a reference to repairs on an absent page. Price is attractive. Collection can wait until I know what was repaired.

Ask for the complete report tied to the offered unit identifiers, including the repair work and subsequent checks, before anyone calls a demonstration an inspection.

Requested. We have the arm identifier but the report's controller field is blank. Seller says the missing page is with the workshop.

Get the controller and included-equipment list identified too, because the assessor needs to know which complete package is being offered.

Have you seen this unit yourself, Felix?

Only photographs and a short unloaded motion clip, Maya. I'm not treating that as my inspection, despite inspecting used kit being part of my normal work.

Is the gripper in the photographs included?

Lucy, no. Seller confirms it belonged to the demonstration setup. Our puck tool would be a separate design and suitability review.

Worth putting that beside the headline price.

Once the records arrive, ask an independent assessor for a scope matched to the unit history and offered package; do not pay for a vaguely named check that repeats the seller's video.

Does the seller permit that inspection before the sale is final? The answer affects whether it is worth arranging the visit.

Yes, Aisha, inspection before a final decision is allowed. They have now identified the controller. Full repair page still missing, so the assessor hasn't quoted a final scope.

Then keep the collection booking open rather than guessing a date around incomplete records.

Repair page arrived. It describes a cable replacement, but the follow-up test sheet it references is absent. I've sent both pages to the assessor and asked the seller for that sheet too.

Did the assessor say whether a visit is worthwhile with those records?
