Does the finger reference match its backing piece, Caleb? A matching bag label is not the whole assembled condition. I would have the toolmaker compare both sides before naming wear.
And keep the tray reference check in scope. Your observation narrows the start of the lean, but doesn't establish that every accumulated edit compensated for only one issue.
Have maintenance record that whole side before replacing anything. The person reviewing the taught changes needs to know the physical offset they may have been compensating for, not just that someone found the wrong bit
Then check the restored assembly with the selected program under the agreed supervision. Neither the newest point file nor the oldest one earns automatic approval from that repair.
Keep the wrong backing reference out of the available replacement list as well. Otherwise the next service can recreate the same assembly while following a tidy stock label.
