Ask quality to trace the original entries by bracket identity. Keep the hole-spacing pass, but show which question it answers. A student should not have to notice the change of dimension to discover your uncertainty.
The bracket passes a different check after its correction

My lesson notes tell a satisfying story: bracket looks right in the fixture, fails released inspection, gets corrected, passes. Then I followed the references. The first failure concerns upright position and the final pass concerns hole spacing. The correction might be perfectly real, but this is not yet a complete worked example for the FR5 planning session. I need the missing upright recheck before I teach that the problem was put right.
