Our FR5's fitted tool cable is fine. The additional spare is still missing, and the seller wants to combine it with an order we haven't placed. Is asking for standalone supply really unreasonable?

Ask for the standalone supply answer, including the exact cable reference and availability, rather than discussing the hypothetical next order; maintenance can then judge its contingency while purchasing keeps the unfulfilled kit line open. No need to buy more bits to make an existing shortage worth their attention.
