The FR5 kit bags are full, but seventeen have no fingers

I've counted the contents, not just the bags. We ordered 103 accessory kits with a matched finger set in each; 86 have sets and seventeen have the other bits only. Seller says 103 means pieces, although their final message lists the finger set per kit. The arm is already here, this is a separate order.

Give them the component shortage against that final list: seventeen matched sets. Have the packing contact answer why those seventeen bags lack the listed contents instead of debating the word kit again.

Sent it. They replied that the finger sets were shared accessories, which isn't what the confirmation says. It says one set in each kit.

Can they point to an agreed change after that confirmation?

No change. I asked them to identify one and they sent the original confirmation back. At least we're both reading the same message now.

Keep the received sets identified against the drawing while the shortage is discussed. If they offer replacements, your receiving check needs the individual matching references, not only seventeen new bags.

Did stores verify the 86 as complete matched sets, Nathan? I mean the actual fingers, not labels saying pair. It would be irritating to settle the shortage and then find a second count problem.

Yes. Stores checked both references in each of the 86 sets. The seventeen incomplete bags are separated and labelled, so they won't go out as ready kits.

Then keep the claim narrow. Seventeen sets missing from an otherwise checked order, with the seller's own contents message supporting it.

Has anyone there acknowledged the seventeen yet?

Packing supervisor has. They ran out while assembling the kits and sales used the bag count as the completed quantity. Seller now offers supply of the missing sets.

Does that offer identify the same finger references and cover shipping separately from any future purchase? You should know what receiving is expecting before you accept it.

Same references, no further purchase required, shipping included. We accepted. They're assembling the missing sets; I have no dispatch record yet.

Thanks for answering the matched-set question. Seventeen genuinely missing sets is much easier to resolve than a bag total that nobody trusts.

Leave those seventeen marked incomplete until the new contents arrive and pass the same check. The promise has improved, the shelves haven't changed yet.
