How do I compare FR5 positions while the gripper drawing is missing?

There isn't one. Literally a point at the fixture. I've requested the quoted assembly dimensions.

You can still compare broad positions with a marked provisional envelope once you have one. I wouldn't freeze the whole planning job, but I wouldn't order hardware from this picture either.

Have you asked the machine owner to survey the door and fittings? The tool drawing won't supply those, and waiting for one should not delay the other.

And if they propose longer fingers to reach past the opening, have the complete tool reviewed again. I've seen finger length change while the old gripper outline kept doing service as the official drawing.

A different approach orientation may be worth comparing before changing the base. That is conditional on the actual assembly and machine geometry, not a claim that your current position can work.

Where does the setter stand for a fixture change? I would mark that with the provisional bases, rather than leave human access until the robot path looks attractive.

Dinesh, survey is under way. Luis and Eli, maintainer and setter are marking their access on it. Tool supplier has sent a provisional complete envelope; two base candidates remain open.

Keep fixture-change frequency in the comparison too, since squeezing past a stand once a month and doing it repeatedly on every short order are very different nuisances.

Use the actual changeover trolley in that review. Our first training layout left just enough space for the trolley parked, but none to turn it into position. We only noticed when the setter walked us through the task.

Did the setter try the trolley route at that remaining candidate, Aisha, or is that still to be reviewed?

Ask the supplier to identify the exact envelope revision used when that approach review returns. Otherwise the provisional geometry can be mistaken for the final tool without anyone consciously making that decision.
