Cannot approve our FR10 layer from an empty-box demonstration

I put one of our packed product boxes beside the FR10 pattern drawing and the internal supports changed the question completely. The empty box used in the demonstration looked happy across a gap; our actual pack needs support where that gap is. I cannot decide whether to ask for a different pattern or different fingers yet. What would you give packaging and the tool designer so they can compare those choices together?

Give them the packed-box section with its required bearing areas, then show the complete fingers releasing and withdrawing at each troublesome position. Include the first layer on the actual pallet, the repeat layers and your ordinary partial orders. Ask one integration owner to combine the answers. A lower-count pattern or a changed withdrawal arrangement might be worth comparing, but neither gets a free approval. If they propose a sheet, somebody also has to define, feed and replenish it. The box demonstration is useful background; it is not the finished packing process.
