FR5 arrived with different contact pads from our plastic-sample trial. Seller says equivalent. Tooling review paused; where's the comparison?

We received a replacement tool once with the same name but different contact geometry. Can you identify the trial set and the delivered set from their drawings or labels?

Trial photos show ribbed pads. Delivered ones are smooth. Neither set has an identifier in the paperwork.

Send those photos together and ask the seller to identify both sets. Then ask what changed and whether they will supply the trial version or demonstrate the proposed replacement on your samples.

Done. They say the ribbed set was borrowed for testing. That detail would have been useful before shipping.

Did the offer include those trial pads, Amy? I would check that line before discussing whether you should pay for another set.

And ask for holding and release in any new comparison. A still photograph of a sample between smooth pads will not tell you how it leaves them.
