My 136 FR5 kits cannot be made from this adapter count

I bought accessories for 136 matched kits for our FR5 moulded-part work, with one mounting adapter in each. The sealed box has too few adapters. The seller in China is now counting pieces, although the invoice and final contents message describe kits. How should I get that specific shortage answered?

How many adapters did you count, and can you identify them separately from the other pieces?

Our stores once counted spare screws towards a kit total; put each promised component on its own line before debating the grand total.

Attach the final contents message to that inventory, because a photograph of a busy box cannot show whether it satisfies the agreed composition of 136 kits.

There are 120 mounting adapters, checked twice against their item description. The other kit components reach 136 sets, so I can assemble 120 complete kits and have 16 incomplete ones.

Keep the loose balance listed separately from the completed kits. That makes it possible for receiving to check a later parcel without counting the original pieces again, and for production to know how many sets are usable now.

Has the seller answered the sixteen-adapter difference, or only repeated their total pieces?

They repeated total pieces. I've sent the 120-complete and 16-incomplete count beside their final per-kit list, with the adapter line highlighted.

Is their piece total counting the adapter as one item per kit, or giving it a different quantity?

Callum's question may expose their packing interpretation, but Luis need not agree that the later packing list replaces the final kit agreement.

Yes. Their account of what they packed and the record of what they agreed to supply can both be retained. The purpose is to reconcile them, not choose whichever document gives the most convenient total.

Their packing sheet actually lists 120 adapters. The order contact now acknowledges that the final kit list requires 136, and has offered the sixteen missing adapters without an extra item charge.

Does that offer address freight and dispatch, or only the adapters themselves?

Only the item charge so far; I have asked them to confirm freight and the dispatch arrangement before recording an agreed remedy.

They confirmed prepaid freight and sent a carrier acceptance record for the identified adapter parcel. Stores still shows sixteen incomplete kits until receipt.

Check identity and condition as well as quantity when it arrives. Sixteen objects close the arithmetic only if they are the adapters required by those kits.

Parcel received: sixteen correct adapters, condition checked, and stores has completed the remaining kits. Thanks for keeping the loose balance separate; we reconciled all 136 without recounting screws as kits.
