Two promising spacer-transfer videos with unequal trays

I'm comparing FR10 and other candidates for 42 molded spacers, tray to tray in a compact handling area. One demo starts with a beautifully tidy tray; another uses our awkward workshop tray. Both look good. I don't see how to turn that into a fair shortlist without rewarding the easier starting condition.

Compare the whole tray job, including preparation and removal; the clips don't yet share a boundary.

Ask both to use the same source and destination conditions. Keep assisted steps visible.

Do you need the awkward tray retained, or could a changed tray be a legitimate proposal? I'd compare that option too, provided its preparation, storage and changeover work are counted instead of disappearing outside the video.

A changed tray is fair as an option, Harish; presenting its benefit as an arm comparison isn't.

The tray could change, but that would need agreement from the people preparing and receiving the work. I had treated the tidy-tray clip as evidence about the robot alone. It really describes a different handling proposal.

Then compare two proposals explicitly: current tray retained, and tray change with its added work priced.

Let the operators describe the awkward bits before the repeat demonstration is scoped. I would want to know whether the tray is troublesome because of presentation variation, access or preparation, rather than have a supplier solve whichever one is easiest to film.

I've requested equivalent current-tray demonstrations and left an improved-tray proposal as a separate option. Neither repeat is agreed yet. Thanks, Harish; I can consider a better tray without pretending the original videos are like for like.

Include the receiving end in those requests. A tidy source doesn't answer what happens after the last placement.

Any response on the repeat scope? Interested whether both suppliers will show the full 42-piece job with the same assistance rules, rather than another short section selected from it.

No agreed repeat scope yet. Source and destination are now explicit in the request, with preparation and assistance to be recorded. The shortlist stays provisional; I have not ranked the arms from those two clips.
