Our FR10 unloading route crosses the door stay

The complete tool is finally in our unloading model. It clears the door panel but crosses the door stay on withdrawal. I am unsure whether another base position is worth studying.

Ask for another complete route from this position before paying to move the base.

Integrator tried a different withdrawal orientation in the model. It clears the stay but puts the held blank against the fixture. They propose a position farther from the door.

Before that position becomes the favourite, let the setter check whether it occupies the space needed to remove the fixture, including anything carried out with it.

Setter marked the fixture-removal route. The proposed farther position overlaps it. There may be a side position, but we have no complete study for that yet.

Is moving the fixture-removal route a real option, or would that mean changing the setter's handling equipment too?

David, I'd cost that only if the setter says it is workable.

Yes, and not by replacing the handling aid with an instruction to carry an awkward fixture round the stand; the fixture still has to be supported properly.

Setter says the existing handling route stays. The side position has now been modelled with the actual tool and blank; both withdrawal and return clear the included machine features.

Does the side position also leave room for the empty fixture trolley when it is parked?

It does on the revised layout, David. Setter checked its parking position. We selected that candidate for detailed integration design, not the original front position. Door and fixture-removal requirements remain in the design brief.

Good to hear the trolley made the drawing before the stand made the floor.
