How much can I claim from our locator trial? (Fairino FR5)

Our setup uses Fairino FR5 for fixture-to-tray transfer with a rigid molded housing in a shared assembly workshop. After I added a tray locator, pickup appeared more consistent during a few supervised runs, but another miss followed tray replacement. I'd like to report both the apparent improvement and its limitation without overstating what the trial established.

@AaronAdams0088 Can you establish the tray's seating condition at the unsuccessful pickup? That would help interpret the recurrence before considering another locator or coordinate revision.

It wasn't fully seated. The locator reduced visible movement, but it didn't stop us leaving the tray short of its seat.

@AaronAdams0088 Your update can describe reduced movement alongside the incomplete-seating miss. Have a seating check reviewed and compare handling through routine tray replacements under supervision before making a broader success claim.

I'm considering describing the result as an incomplete improvement. Would that convey the evidence clearly, or might it sound as if I'm avoiding the unsuccessful result?

On my own fixture trial, both were true: steadier seating, unfinished changeover. Naming the exact remaining failure was more useful than trying to pick one cheerful or miserable label.

Since the locator reduced movement, you could describe that fix as complete and list seating as a separate operator issue.
