Coated housing marks before we have an agreed appearance check

I'm reviewing FR10 gripper samples for moving coated round housings between nests, and the visible cylinder has marks; supplier proposes softer pads, but we have not agreed what counts as acceptable or shown reliable holding and release with that proposal.

I'd get quality and the supplier looking at the same identified handled and unhandled housings under an agreed appearance check first, then compare candidate contacts on that basis. Softer isn't a result by itself; the trial also needs to show the housing remains held through the intended movement and releases cleanly.
